Freedom has a new pace: from the plains of Slavonia to the Atlantic

What can be freer than deciding to ride your horse from Croatia to the Atlantic Sea?

What we call “Freelosophy” at Sun Living is that rare, genuine feeling when you finally dodge the schedule, leave the complexity of everyday life behind, and match your own pace with nature. Today, we are beyond excited to announce our support of a project that embodies this spirit in its purest form: The NO-MAD Project.

Two words, one path: NO-MAD

For Nikola Borić, the main character in this story, "NO-MAD" carries a double meaning. It’s a bold statement: No mad as in "I'm not crazy" and Nomad as in "I choose a nomadic way of life."

This multi-month equestrian journey on a horse will stretch thousands of kilometers from the plains of Slavonia, Croatia, all the way to the wild Atlantic cliffs of Portugal. There are no whips, no bits, and absolutely no hurry. The pace isn't dictated by a GPS or a deadline, but by the terrain, the weather, and the horses themselves.

A Conscious step toward simplicity

NO-MAD isn't just a route on a map; it’s a return to what truly matters. It’s about trust between human and animal and a movement that doesn’t depend on speed. It’s a conscious step away from excess and toward a simpler, more unfiltered reality.

Nikola and his partner are swapping 60 square meters of a traditional home for 15 square meters on wheels. In this space, there is less room to hide and more space to live.

Our campervan will provide “the no-mads” the essential logistics for their slow-moving adventure, offering a warm place for coffee, a dinner that smells like home, and a map with no planned route unrolled on the table. It’s about having everything you need and nothing you don't.
